Passive Fire Protection Solutions for Steel Structures

For this reason, protecting steel load-bearing systems against fire is of critical importance for the continuity of building safety and safe evacuation time. With advanced fire-resistant mortar and intumescent coating systems, the fire resistance of structural elements can be increased to 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes depending on project requirements, and to up to 240 minutes in special applications.
