Specseal Cable Coating

SpecSeal Cable Spray cable coating is an intumescent, latex-based, ablative coating to protect single or grouped electrical cables from flame spread.

When properly applied, this coating will limit flame spread in accordance with IEEE 383, IEEE 1202, IEC 60332-3 and Factory Mutual (FM) Class 3971. In addition, in accordance with CS105, IEC 60331-21 standard, it can provide a degree of short-term circuit integrity in the event of fire. Solid content (by volume) is very high and offers the highest coverage rate among such products.

SpecSeal Cable Spray dries to form a flexible shield against fire spread. The premium quality latex binder system is completely waterproof.
