Economy Fire Blanket

Economy Fire Blanket is a durable and economical fire blanket developed to contain vehicle fires. It prevents the spread of flames by depriving the fire of oxygen, reduces smoke and toxic gas generation and limits environmental damage. An effective and cost-effective solution suitable for car parks, shopping centres, ferries and other public spaces.

The blanket, capable of withstanding peak temperatures of up to 1100°C, is reusable in internal combustion vehicle fires; however, it is single-use in electric vehicle fires due to the demanding conditions caused by lithium batteries. Manufactured from a mixture of 70% high-quality silica and glass fibre, it is lightweight and durable, does not ignite during application and maintains its structural integrity.

Tested in accordance with international standards (DIN EN 13501-1 A1, DIN SPEC 91489, ASTM D6413). Thanks to colour holding rings, it can be easily applied by two people and comes with a durable carrying bag. Can be used with different vehicle types, has a long shelf life and can be produced in custom sizes on request.
